Web Page Access Counter
This Web page access counter is available for use by all Gifford Internet
customers. It goes by the unassuming and somewhat orininal (not!) name 'Count'.
It is configurable, and can be made
to generate several different styles of counters. Take a look at the
examples
of the different styles which can be produced.
To add an access counter to your page, simply insert into your HTML, a line
which is similar to the following:-
<img src="/cgi-bin/Count.cgi?df=username.dat">
where "username" is your login name. If you require access counts for
more than one page, then simply add a unique decimal suffix to "username",
eg. user, user1, user2. We will monitor the data files and any files which
do not contain a valid "username" will be deleted.
